Hasn't won since 2021 when trained by M Stoute and has had plenty of issues since. Showed much more at Windsor last month when losing his chances leaving the stalls yet managed to finish 3rd in the end off this mark. Lost way more ground at the start than he was beaten that day & this is 4lb lower than his only handicap success. As long as he doesn't repeat those antics from Windsor then he comes here with an excellent chance on that run.

Related to numerous group 1 winners & holds group 1 entries herself. Didn't make her debut until just before Christmas when scoring at Kempton. She then made a winning 3yo debut at Newmarket just 10 days ago pulling well clear with the runner-up in a listed event. That was quite impressive & she certainly looks the one to beat as long as this doesn't come too soon.

Promises to be better as a 4yo after winning 2 contests at Deauville last season. Fell short in group 1 company after but returned with a decent effort finishing runner-up to Washington Heights at Newmarket last month. Could find further improvement & likely to run well in a very open looking contest.

Has run well on his last 2 starts finishing runner-up at Newbury & following that with a 3rd place finish lto at Newmarket where he possibly would of won if he'd broke on terms. Up 1lb but another good run looks on the cards though he won't want to repeat that slow start over this flat 6f. Each way chance.

Only showed limited glimpses of ability as a 2yo but stepped up on previous for on handicap/seasonal debut over this CD 4 weeks ago finishing runner-up off a 2lb lower mark. That form has been subsequently franked & he's got a decent chance of going one better today

4yo don't have a great record in this but he was an improved performer when winning the Boodles at Cheltenham on his latest start. 8lb higher today but still open to more improvement than many of these & it's likely he'll enjoy this better ground.

Yet to race on anything better than soft but on his reappearance at Leopardstown he looked all at sea on the ground finishing tired in 3rd. A lot of the O'Brien horses have tended to of needed a run this season so on this better ground, over further, I'd be expecting a much better showing today.

Expect a big run from this Northern raider today following his reappearance at Newmarket last month without headgear which is reapplied today. 6lb higher than his last win & 9lb higher than when winning over CD last July. Good effort on his last start here when hindered by racing up the centre when narrowly behind Popmaster. I'd expect them to come standside today so he's well enough drawn in stall 14. Each way Nap material.

Has plenty of group 1 entries & as a relation to an Ascot Gold Cup winner she should appreciate going up in trip. On bare form she needs to improve but she couldn't of been anymore impressive lto at Wetherby when scoring by 12 lengths without breaking sweat. This represents a big jump in class but she's from a big stable who know what they're doing with fillies.

Looked slightly unlucky in last season's Dante at York but certainly looked a non stayer in the Derby on his next start. Was off the track over 2 months after until winning at Windsor in late Aug on his final start of 2023. Trainer has superb record with older horses & this one could well improve this season especially considering he's only had 4 career starts. This looks a decent starting point & if he's raring to go could well be the answer.

Could of done with a better draw than this but he did finish 3rd in this contest last season from this stall. Hasn't won since Aug 22 which came over CD off a 1lb lower mark so he's handicapped to go close. Decent enough reappearance when finishing runner-up in a field of 15 at Newmarket last month & that should of blown the cobwebs away. Each way chance if not hindered by his draw.

Won a valuable maiden on debut at Doncaster last Sept then contested a group 1 on his final start of the year when 3rd of 7 to Ancient Wisdom again at Doncaster. Looked that day as though he'd be better over further & after winning as expected on his reappearance last month at Nottingham he steps up in trip today. Needs to prove he acts on this faster ground but he's certainly going the right way.

Useful form in 2 outings as a 2yo especially when finishing runner-up for the 2nd time at Nottingham behind Vandeek. Broke his maiden tag on reappearance with an easy success at Thirsk & now goes handicapping for the first time off what looks a fair mark. Could well have plenty more to offer with further improvement likely.

Ex pointer who failed to trouble the judge on 3 hurdle runs prior to putting in a much improved effort lto at Wincanton when finishing runner-up to Plaisir Des Flos who has gone in again since. Higher mark to contend with today but if maintaining that progress, should be difficult to beat.

Clearly handicapping wasn't to be the future after that performance & she now gets the chance in listed company. If she's in the same kind of form it's going to take a decent one to beat her.

Last season's champion 2yo who looked better & better on each occasion. Won on debut over 7f at the Curragh in a good time & followed up in the July Stakes here on the July course slamming Haatem in the process. Rounded off his 2yo campaign with a very impressive performance in the Dewhurst with 3 of today's opponents behind. Will have no issues with this trip & no reason to expect him not training on. Only concern could be his trainers runners have seemed to of needed a run but I'm pretty certain A O'Brien will have got him ready for today. Could be the next big superstar in Europe & he's got the best form coming into this.

Won here over 1m back in April last year & followed up over the July course in August off a 2lb lower mark than today. Finished 3rd in last year's Cambridgeshire over CD off a 2lb higher mark form of which gives him decent claims today. Hasn't shown too much so far this season & needs to step up on that. Stable having a decent meeting & this 4yo could well boost that record today. Runner-up to Mighty Bandit, who seems to of regressed, on debut he then gained further experience in maiden hurdles prior to winning the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival off a mark of 122. Now rated 130 & this event looks within his compass if running to that form again.

Has the rating to be involved in the finish of this with 2 runs behind him this season though he tries this trip for the 1st time. Looked when winning last season's Cambridgeshire as though this extra furlong would suit & lto he ran on well over 1m 1f behind Ottoman Fleet. Wouldn't want the ground to soften considerably.

Runner-up on debut she has since gone on to reel off a hat-trick of wins in lesser company the last of which came in a class 4 handicap at Lingfield when a very easy winner off a mark of 78. Now rated 90 so this step into listed company seems the obvious step. This will be much tougher but she holds a fitness advantage over her main rivals & that could be crucial.

Needs to show she's as effective on this quicker ground as she is on heavy. Won on hurdling debut at Fairyhouse in Jan she was then upped markedly in class to contest a grade 1 mares event at the same track at the end of March finishing runner-up to a stablemate. Both those events over half a mile further so slightly surprising to see her dropped back to 2m. Has the best form in the book coming into this.

Doesn't have a great deal of experience but she could be on a decent mark here judged on her 7th of 22 in the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival running today off a 5lb lower mark. That looked an improved effort & hopefully she can maintain that progress.
