Found himself on 113 last time and won again at Chepstow.Hit with a 5 pound rise here but the field is made up of m,anily exposed tpes and a few with receding form so0 it wouldn't be a shock to see a follow up.Gats and Co seems to come second a lot but has come back from pointing and this could be a good opportunity.

MONTAASIB is classy and always runs a good race in these big field sprints at big venues.Won here last term( 16 runners class 2 )And won snugly onder Ceiron Fallon.Came back this term winning a neck in small field and mud but will have needed to blow the cobwebs off for this. Azure Blue will be ready to go and defend the crown won in this last year.

Greek Giant looks the bare form poick but on closer scrutiny it seems his form around this trip has been on synthetics but on turf he is yet to go as far. The short price isn't, in my opinion, value. MARZBUZET looks more like it to me.The yard has had a decent run of form of late and this one needed the comeback run last month. He was nowhere on an AW surface but will be fitter today.Has won and been placed at this distance a few times and all on turf.That reads better to me

In a race of very little winning form it might pay to side with what looks to be the only one that seems to be imnproving rather than going backwards. DIXIE COWBOY did nothing in three races at5 treble-figure odds then went off on the handicap debut at 22/1 and run second. It was aslo the first time to step up to 2m 4f and the winner had won its previous race and is now on a hat trick. The extra 2 furlongs shojuld be a plus.

Franny Norton is a standing dish around here and will be short odds to complete the hat trick on Charlie Johnson's ASrch Legend.But , for my money, i think the ever-consistent Andrew Balding's CONTACTO and equally reliable David Probert are the more likely. Last time out , Contacto took on 11 furlongs for the first time and won ny an easy 7 lengths so it's clearly happier around this trip.Handicapper has given them an extra 9 pound but according to current and recent form this is a thin race and they can defy it.

PARLANDO might prove value.Has mixed it on varying syntheic courses as well as turf.Last seen in the Lincoln where he finished 11th of 20. The ground was heavy that day and it had been 4 months since a run and he was ridden by an inexperienced claimer so all in all it isn't as bad as it appears on bare numbers.THis is two furlongs further, good ground and champion jockey Buick rides.Hew rides here well( 2 winners on opening day).

Possibly found a muddy class 1 a bit too much of a reach.Has trained on by the look of his reappearance when he romped away from his two opponents by 8 lengths. THat was enough to convince the Gosdens and connections to bokk him into the Derby and other major races.

DEMOCRACY DILEMMA has the going and draw in his favour and the last time he ran on home soil he won easily over this CD. Has since contested btter races than this in Meydan and Jebel Al.Has developed into a much smarter turef performer than synthetics.
