Teddy Boy a 9yo gelding trained by Edward Lynam is 5/92 wins and a two time course winner over 5f but has won over todays 6f - reverts to turf having been running on the AW of late and is starting to look well handicapped - on last two turf starts both coming at Navan he finished 4/20 6/22 posting RPR of 61-63 and takes his chance today off 47 with Sorcha Woods taking off 7lb and jockey was recently seen to good affect winning on 20-1 chance Northcliffe at Ascot - Teddy Boy loves the track and is ground versatile and won't mind the hustle and bustle of today's big field having won 5 times in fields of 14 or more

Ladyeze Man is a lightly raced 6yo gelding trained by J P Flavin and whilst disappointing last twice over what may prove to be inadequate trips there is definitely a race to be won off 91 being so well found in the market last time out 7-1 (trip too far) suggests connections have faith - finished 2/17 at Cork on handicap hurdle debut three starts back over 19f and the 3/17 Herculaneum 4l behind has since won showing recent form figures 2-1-2-5 and is rated some 12lb higher - Ladyeze Man may appreciate todays drop in trip to 17.5f and the application of a first time tongue tie under the guidance of Keith Donaghue one of the hottest jockeys over jumps right now 7/18 wins in recent weeks and landed a hat trick yesterday at Kilbeggan so I expect a positive ride from the front and Ladyeze Man looks like a knocking each way bet at 12-1

Goodwood Odyssey is a lightly raced 3yo colt 1-2-1 and 2/2 wins on turf is trained by David Menuisier (won with 3 of his last 5 runners) and comes here in good form beating two of today's runners at Sandown Brioni (won previous race) Prepschool and Queen Of Atlantis (won previous 3 races) - the good to soft going and 10f trip are ideal and the manner Goodwood Odyssey won at Sandown suggests connections have a seriously progressive colt on their hands and will prove to be upto the task in this valuable handicap

Commanding View is a lightly raced 6yo gelding trained by Mel Rowley won on handicap hurdle debut in January over todays trip and good to soft going - disappointing next start but the good ground and 19f may have been his undoing - bounced back to form last start when beaten 2l by King Of The Road (won previous race) and finished 25l ahead of the third posting a career high RPR of 108 over today's trip and going so comes here in good form Mel Rowley a trainer in sizzling form winning with 4 of her last 7 runners and as such with conditions to suit Commanding View is my short priced banker of the day
