Likeable type who was successful on first start since being gelded at Goodwood in October and followed up with a couple of very solid efforts on the all weather thereafter. Took a step forward from reappearance when 3rd off this mark back at Goodwood earlier this month and can't see any reason why this course and distance winner shouldn't be bang there once again.
EW @
Nottingham novice winner who was also successful on handicap debut at Newmarket in July. But found life tougher in some hot handicaps thereafter. Will need to put reappearance in the Spring Cup well behind him but that was too bad to be true so wouldn't be writing him off just yet, especially not with Oisin Murphy booked today.
WIN @
Showed next to nothing last season after winning at Pontefract this time last year but better effort on reappearance when 3rd at Musselburgh earlier this month. Down another lb and should be capable of taking advantage of this mark soon.

Winner in France for Andre Fabre but hadn't shown much on these shores for Amy Murphy until better effort when 5th on first start after wind op at Yarmouth last month. Down another lb and should go well if able to back that up.
EW @
Inconsistent type but was good enough to win a Redcar maiden for Eric Alston and won a Haydock handicap last season after switching to John Quinn. Will need to take a step forward from reappearance but back on that last winning mark now so could run well.
WIN @
Placed nicely by Donald McCain last summer and picked up 4 victories on the spin in novice company. Well beaten in open company at Perth last month but might have needed that so willing to give him another chance today.
WIN @
Solid performer who won at Newbury last spring and went on to run well in plenty of competitive handicaps thereafter, including when very good 4th in the Ayr Silver Cup. Took a step forward from reappearance at Newbury last time and will surely be winning off this mark very soon.
